ResCare Inc. was founded over 30 years ago by three Kentuckians who were dedicated to providing services to those with developmental disabilities. Their persistence and compassion for the disadvantaged has fueled the company’s growth and is why they have become the nation’s largest provider of services to people with disabilities and the second largest Job Corps contractor in the country. Their growth took off between 1995-2000 in which they quadrupled their size and expanded in home-services to the elderly. Today, ResCare employs over 40,000 in 36 states and has revenues exceeding $1.3 billion.
