Papa John’s is the product of founder John Schnatter, who sold his prized 1972 Z28 Camaro in order to pursue his pizza-making dream. From its meager beginnings, the business took off and, in 1984, the first Papa John’s pizza restaurant was opened. Today, Papa John’s is based out of Louisville and is the third largest take-out and delivery pizza chain in the U.S. operating over 3,300 stores worldwide in over 30 countries. Their rapid growth can be attributed to their unrelenting customer service, quality products, menu simplicity, and the much familiar slogan “Better Ingredients Better Pizza.”
