ear X-tacy is an independently owned and operated music store opened in 1985 by its then and current owner John Timmons. The music store bumped around a couple of times before solidifying itself in its much successful Bardstown Rd. location. The store houses almost every genre of music in the CD, cassette, and vinyl format as well as various other rare and hard to find music items and paraphernalia. The success of Ear X-Tacy shouldn’t be measured by its growth, but by the support of its loyal customers and city.
